This is what the front of the house used to look like.
We have been wanting to change it for some time.
Doing it at the same time we were doing the back yard seemed perfect.
We hired John, our nephew, to build us a little patio.
He dug.
He ordered gravel, sand and pavers.
He installed a drainage system.
He leveled.
He built a beautiful retaining wall.
(Who knew our yard had such a slope?)
He did such a beautiful job.
We love it.
And now this is what the front of our house looks like.
If only we could figure out how to decorate it!!
