Time Flies

So basically summer came and went
since my last post.
I will hit on the highlights with
favorite summer pictures!
Taylorsville Dayzz
(Jordan, Paige, Courtney)
 canyon cookouts

hikes

I finally decided on how to arrange the new front patio
and bought cushions. And we love it.
 Antelope Island Moonlight ride
 the Fourth of July

fireworks with the neighbors
 outdoor movies
We decided to make a quick trip to Disneyland
during one of our St. George visits.
 Which we love
 even in the rain.
Mark and I spent our honeymoon in Disneyland
on the 30th Anniversary and so we needed
to go again on their 60th Anniversary!
 Cute people
waiting for the new main street electrical parade.
We love Disneyland!
Courtney's birthday dinner at Aristos (her favorite).
The birthday girl's pie.
Paige started 8th grade again
 this time as the teacher!
And she bought a new car.
 Then football season started!
And we went on another trip to St. George
only this time without Miss Paige.

Snow Canyon

Then some more football.
Where Courtney entered with the team.
Then we went on a one day trip to St. George.
To see this cute family and join in the blessing of Brooklyn.

We went on a drive to see the leaves.
 Mirror Lake.
The dark and the light.
And here is an end of summer picture of the family.

Goodbye summer.
We will miss you but we also love Fall!
And taking selfies.

Easter and more

The girls took a little trip to sunny California
the first part of March (without us!)
And this might maybe be my favorite Disneyland picture
EVER!
 Thanks to Ben for hosting!
 We all love Disneyland!
We also love movies!

And when classics like Rear Window are on the
big screen - we are there!
Another thing that Mark and I enjoy is
Maya, our neighbor, who comes over
"just to talk" sometimes!
You are never too old to color Easter eggs together
 right?
We didn't color many this year
but the ones we colored were quality!
Since Easter was on conference weekend
we had such a wonderful, relaxing, day.
And we cooked a wonderful Easter meal together.
The poached egg salad seen above
 and this beautiful chocolate souffle
are 2 of the things Courtney learned to make
at her Harmon's cooking class. #thankyouharmons
I have been walking around, taking pictures of plants

that I like for ideas to plant in our own yard.
Of course these are taken on Temple Square.
 A garden worthy of emulation!
One day my Paige came to town
and we went to lunch at Cucina!
Mark got nice tickets to a Jazz game and
and Mark and Linda came too.
At one point Mark H. felt a little wetness on his head.
And the Jazz bear was behind us with a can of silly string.
He was going around hitting all the bald guys!
It was way fun! I have only ever attended one other
Jazz game and we were on the top row - literally!
Last Sunday I made Pavlova for dessert.
And while it was far from perfect
it was yummy and I will try, try again!
On Wednesday, April 15th we finally got some snow.
More than the whole winter combined I heard.

But the flowers on Temple Square still look beautiful!
What a wonderful world!
