Gardening 101

I am not a gardener - 

but I work by a really great garden!

So I thought I would show you how to garden like a pro!

 First - you clear the ground

except for the stuff that will live through the winter.

Then you get some bulbs.

  

And lay them out in really cool patterns.

 

Then you get some plants

And stake out where you want them planted.

And plant them among the bulbs.

Then you wait a few months

 

Then in the Spring it starts to grow

 And the trees start to blossom.

Until finally

It looks like this

And this!

gardens next Spring!

New and Improved

 I said changes were afoot!

Here is a "before" shot.

 First they took down all the wood.

 And covered it with paper

and wire.

 Then they "browned" it - which looked black and grey to me.

 And then they put the stucco on it.

And we think it looks fabulous!

Once I get my suns back up

it will be perfect!

Yesterday and Today

 Yesterday was Easter so we colored eggs.

 And ate them.

 Aren't they just the cutest?

 Today I took a long drive and thought:

1 - The people who live on the East side

miss out on the beautiful view that we West siders have!

 2 - What is up with these hairy, long horned cattle

right in the middle of the "city"!

3 - What a beautiful temple!

It has been such lovely weather the last couple of days.

So glad I got out and enjoyed it a little bit!
