Birthday, Anniversary, Father's Day

Okay - so June (including May 31st) is a big month full of fun stuff
here at the Wightman house!
First - Dani graduated from Westminster
This little "gem" aka Slla Taylor aka Linda got married to Hal!
(you can read all about her on sisterwightman.blogspot.com.
And we celebrated Mark's #55 at Hires for lunch!
These two pictures are the silly gift that
Slla Wightman sent from Italy!
Fennel Honey, a Sicilian Pistacchio Candy Bar,
a Cannoli magnet, and a book on the Mafia!
She is a funny girl!
Here are a couple of pretty bad pictures of Mark's birthday cake
which was really good.
Second: June 14th is our wedding anniversary!
To repeat myself from Instagram:
I no longer have the mullet but I still have Mark!
And he sent me roses
and they were beautiful!
We went to Cucina Vanina for dinner.
I had been wanting to go for a while and it did not disappoint!
We had Bruschetta alla Peperonata
Insalata di rucola e finnochio
and
Gamberoni al Pomodoro
Third: June is Father's Day!
Here is my Instagram of the girls and their Dad!
Such love!
Courtney gave her Dad tickets to BNL and Ben Folds.
Fourth: Though it is not a tradition YET
we had a British night!
Steven and Annie came over . . .
(can you believe I only took pictures of the food and not the people!)
and I made cornish pasties, chips, and scones for dinner
and we watched Sense and Sensibility.
Tomorrow we are celebrating noting that Paige has been gone a year!
We are so excited for her! What a lucky girl!

June is a great month
but July is going to be fabulous too!
Stay tuned!

Sunday Drive

We decided to take a Sunday drive yesterday.
And Mark chose the Mirror Lake Highway.
First stop: a view of Jordanelle
 Next stop: Upper Provo Falls
 It was beautiful.

What a lovely day and beautiful blue sky!
This is at the top of the falls.
If you fell in here - it would be a wild ride.

 Last stop: Mirror Lake

 Where there is still snow!
But that didn't stop the fishermen!
(whoever they are)
 Family portrait!
OK - when can we go back?
Camping perhaps!
