Happy 80th Birthday

Dad!
Elder Wood as a young missionary to South Africa.
Post-mission college picture!
Mom labels pictures very well, as you can see.

Here is Dad, holding Paula, my Cox grandparents,
two cousins (Sandra and Joan), and my Mom's grandmother!
Here is a mixture of the Cox and Wood families in Waterton.
Dad holding me and Paula!
I love this picture!
Courtney, Mom, Davis and Mackenzie, Dad holding Paige and Tanner!

As you can see - he always has loved his birthday!
Almost as much as a good family picture!

Here are three of the best!

My Dad always was and is still my hero!
I miss him every day
but am happy to celebrate
what a great man and wonderful
father he was
on this 80th Anniversary of his birth!

Coincidence?

One day way back in the olden days . . .
Lisa was on a mission in England.
Where she and Sister Butterfield met and taught Peggy the gospel.
Peggy decided to get baptized. Lisa's family was on their way home from
a mission in South Africa and decided to stop and see Lisa.
It happened to be the same day as Peggy's baptism.
Then a long time in the future Paige, Lisa's daughter decided to go on a mission.
When Paige got to Italy she and Sorella Taylor
met Val.  Soon Val decided to get baptized.
Now for the coincidence . . .
Val decided to move to England
and of all the wards
in all of England
he is moving into the ward
that Peggy lives in.
And will attend this same Church building
(though I am sure it doesn't look like this anymore!)
where Lisa served her mission!

How crazy is that?!!
