Been there, done that, got the T-shirt

Last night @ 10 p.m.

we, and about 1,196 other people

embarked on a 22 mile bike ride.

 We rode on Antelope Island

from the marina

to the ranch

11 miles away,

 Where we stopped for a

much needed drink of water,

as all but Courtney left theirs in the car,

and some treats.

This morning . . . 

we rode 11 miles

back to the marina, and the car, and the water.

 And I am happy to say

that at 1:15 am

we made it back alive!

The best part of all?

We got a T-shirt!

Which, along with finishing alive

was my favorite part!
