Wednesday, July 30th! Ready to go!
Mark and Mom in front
Paige and Courtney in the middle
and me in the way, way back - watching movies in the car.
We drove to Dillon, Montana,
and stayed at the Best Western Paradise Inn.

We drove to Dillon, Montana,
and stayed at the Best Western Paradise Inn.
Where we met up with Tony and his family.
Our first stop on Thursday was the center of the universe!
Wallace, Idaho.
Wallace, Idaho.
Where we found this great space ship!
Madison, Courtney and Paige
(obviously Courtney was terrified)
Paige ready to take off.
Mark and a rooster.
The girls.
Courtney = Center of the Universe!
The Woods.
And, oh my goodness, it was beautiful!
It is also were we met up with Brett, Avery, and Nicholas.
Here are the Woods with their yacht! (I wish!)
Mark and I
Paige and Courtney
Next stop - the Spokane Washington Temple.
Mikaela, Mercedes, Cyndi, Madison, Paige and Courtney.
Us.
Them.
Tony being Angel Moroni.
Then we had dinner at Thai Kitchen.
It was so, so good!
Friday, August 1, we were ready to ride the Hiawatha trail.
(I realize I could have done a better job with this picture but you get the idea.)
Here is the group of riders:
Front row: Rex, Julie, Tony
2nd row: Reed, Marissa, Courtney, Kyle, Mikaela, Mercedes, Cyndi
3rd row: Braeden, Esther, Mark, Lisa, Madison
4th row: Troy, Brandon, Paige, Jasen, JoAnn and Craig
They hauled our rented bikes to the trail head.
We found the right bikes.
Listened to the rules of the trail.
Posed for a picture.
Or two. (Uncle Rex - 78 years old!)
And got on our way.
Right into the first tunnel - which is 2 miles long
and dark and wet and cold.
And I am so hard core - I took this while riding my bike!
And I am so hard core - I took this while riding my bike!
This is the other end of the tunnel.
This beautiful waterfall greeted us
as we exited the first tunnel.
On down the trail.
I got dirty!
It was so beautiful.
So many pine trees.
Here we are on the edge of a cliff.
The trail goes through 8 tunnels and over 7 high trestles.
One of which you can see in the distance.
This is on one of them.
Family picture.
This is looking off one of the trestles.
It was so beautiful. The picture can not do it justice.
Looking straight down from a trestle.
At the end we had to wait for a shuttle to take us back to our cars.
Tony taking a family selfie.
Here comes the bus!
Tony in his durag.
Our group took up almost the entire bus.
Then the reunion started for real.
Dinner and reminiscing, Brett started us off.
Mom and Uncle Rex
Aunt Deanna
Steve (obviously I have some work to do i.e. learn to focus the camera)
Corie
(Can you see his object lesson off to the side? Yes it is a cattle prod!)
Aunt Judy
Uncle Rex
Saturday we split up into teams and played a lot of fun games.
I think maybe Brett was hindering this team - just sayin!
Craig planned the games. And he did such a great job!
Madison
Mark
Madison
Paige
Now my girls want to own a double-decker bike.
"Look Ma, no hands!"
In the afternoon people started to leave like
Brett and family.
While others relaxed like Mark.
We also got to go to Liberty Lake.
I was too slow, the splashes you can see off the dock
are the girls diving in.
Cael on the paddle board.
Courtney on the paddle board.
Liberty Lake was beautiful
and fun!
Back at Corie's - after dinner we had team awards
for our teams performance at the games.
Here is a picture of Jasen doing some really great tricks
on the trampoline - because I think it is a great picture
and because Jasen was such a great host!
Then each team did a skit with our prize.
(this prize was bubbles)
Paula, Brandon, Mark, Paulette
(hula hoops)
Sheryl, Esther, Courtney
This is the end of the hula hoop skit with Courtney
jumping through the hoop!
(jump ropes)
Aunt Deanna, Julie, Troy, Jacob
and Marissa
(whistles)
Kyle, JoAnn, Amber, Michael, Paige, Cyndi, and Uncle Rex
I did not photograph all the teams skits.
Here is Rex with his prized plunger!?
Then we took some pictures of the families that attended.
Marissa, Esther, Braeden, Rex
Brandon, Kalli (Jessa), Troy, Sharon (Savannah), Jessica (Brielle), Reed
Steve, Sheryl, Paulette, Michael
Fern, Deanna, John
Amber, Paige, Courtney, Lisa, Mark, Paula, Kyle, Jacob
Cael, Madison, Scott, Lorna, Mikaela, Mercedes, Aren
Craig and JoAnn
Since I did not take a picture of the Oviatt family
I am attempting to find picture of all/most of them.
Judy, Karen, Deanna
Julie and Kyle
I chose this picture because it had Uncle DeLynn in it
and Aunt Karen.
And because I think it is such a great action shot!
I may have to do a follow-up post or something when I get
the actual Oviatt group shot.
We had such a great time
at Liberty Lake with those who could attend the reunion.
And missed all those who could not.
Thanks again to the Oviatts!!!
Craig, Corie, Barb, Jasen
Lizzy, JoAnn, Aunt Karen, Uncle Jack, Julie, Kyle
Already looking forward to 2017!

This is lovely! It is so nice to see so many familiar faces. Seriously, if anyone is up for a repeat liberty lake trip I'd be up for that. (plus, are my sisters and your daughters cute or what?)
